“Good morning to you… Jenny!” Gladis Horn was a widower, exemplary bridge player and town gossip, and she nearly stumbled looking up from her kneeling position in the garden.

A Starfish called Strawberry!

On a picturesque sunny morning
like any other, Bartholomew strolled along the sands of his local beach. With his shirt off he strutted the coastal water without a care in the world.

“It’s OK honey, everything will be fine.”

But it wasn’t, he could always hear it in her voice. Jarpec smiled and looked into his mothers
dark sunken eyes, “I know mum.

I’m fine.”, but he wasn’t, and that was not his true name.

Jeremy picked himself up and stared down his formidable foe whilst he rubbed his assaulted chest and derriere. “Neigh my friend; I have bested better opponents than you!”
