It is improved by the fact it provides a unique experience in that you can brew your own coffee using their fancy looking machines. If you are stuck there is always a barista on hand to guide you through the process.

Number Five: Comic Café
Jl. Tebet Raya No.53D, South Jakarta, p +6221 8355216.
I have left my favourite and in my opinion the best for last. This might not be to everyone’s liking but comic books, need I say anymore. I a day and age of digital dystopia it is refreshing to find a place that you can just kick back, throw off the shackles of the daily grind and submerse yourself into one of the many comic realms that exist. Situated in the busy area of Tebet, the Comic Café offers a tranquil reprieve from the cities intense heat with their partially outdoor café and a vast collection of comic books and comic related material. Once the sun goes down should you decide to stay it transforms into a haven for local musicians and their jam-sesh.
